No sense in really speculating how his life would have panned out. For me it is more honorable just to remember him and his spirit. Truly creatively brilliant, inspiring and unique there will never be another John Lennon and for that we are all still trying to recover.

I think that John Lennon was one of the great musicians of the 20th century and it is a shame that someone would take away that spark in such a violent way. If he were alive today, he would be very disappointed in the way that the world is behaving
Man, Yoko Ono really was pretty damn hot. I'd break up the Beatles for her any day (not that she really did, of course). And it looks like John Lennon was, well, maybe a bit anorexic.
When did he stop doing speed? I thought it was back in the Hamburg & Liverpool Cavern days.
I think Lucy in the Sky lyrics about tangerine trees & marmalade skies really weren't about LSD after all -- John was just starving!
