I went to see Transformers last night and i cannot stop talking about how AWESOME it was. Really. One of the best summer movies i have ever seen. Pure fun. I laughed, i loved, i cried...well i didn't cry, but you get the general picture-it is that good. The Transformers themselves were sick. Michael Bay has completely earned my respect. I was a little cautious after the first trailer i saw and was worried one of my favorite childhood memories would be ruined and turned into a total cheese fest. Not to worry- even though the story is a bit of a reach the visual effects are so much fun to watch that i think i liked the movie better than the cartoon...maybe. Oh and this guy isn't so shabby either. Hey, what can i say, i am a sucker for boys in Strokes t-shirts who fight off evil robots.
Ski Brooklyn wrote a really entertaining review which i quite enjoyed and also offers up an mp3 of the Transformer TV theme song. Love.
