Spend 4th of July with Willie!
Willie Nelson that is. Along with Drive By Truckers, Amos Lee, Old 97's, and Son Volt as they play host to the 33rd annual Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic at the Gorge Amphitheatre. "This is the first time the picnic will be held outside of Nelson's home state of Texas. Since its inception in 1973, the picnic has attracted more than a quarter of a million people. Tickets for the event go on sale May 11 via Ticketmaster." The Gorge is also the home of the upcoming Sasquatch Music Festival. One day- one day i will see a show there. It is a perfect setting for Willie especially in regards to how vocal he is about taking care of the environment. Maybe he got sick of a certain fellow Texans' take on that issue?!
