" 'Last Band Standing' asks bands to submit their music and information online so the public can vote on them. Finalists will compete at a live show in Chicago where celebrity judges will determine the winners." The winner of the competition and the first runner-up will be given performance slots at the festival August 3-5 at Chicago's Grant Park, where they'll share the stage with the likes of Interpol, Muse, Ghostland Observatory, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem, Amy Winehouse and various other killer acts-and hopefully M.I.A..
